Grid Web Services are new and rapidly evolving systems that provide services and share resources over a network. Web Services use Extensible Markup Language (XML) messages that follow the Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) standard and have been popular with traditional enterprise.
XML Denial of Service (XDoS) attacks are potential threats to Grid web services. These attacks are far less complex to implement than any previous Denial of Service (DoS) but still just as affective.
