continuous scanning mode.

In this paper,we introduce the design

principle and structure of high-speed and

adaptive mu1 t ichannel radar data recording

system,which has been developed in our

research, In this recording system, the

canbination of a low-speed sampling rate

for target detection and a high- speed

samplifig rate for target data acquisition

is adopted.The detected target is tracked

by a two- dimensional window which is

camposed of an azimuth gate and a range

gate. Controlled by a microcanputer, the

recording system can detect and track

multiple targets in the total radar

scanning area autamat ically, and acquire

the returns of interested targets

efficiently on- line by using a largh

-capacity buffer and the memory window
